This is the classic Recon Tanto from Cold Steel, with an upgraded steel. The 7" blade is made of a San Mai laminate, giving it a core, cutting steel of VG-1, jacketed in stainless steel. The resulting product is not only beautiful, but very functional. The handle is checkered kraton to ensure a solid grip, regardless of rain, sweat, or blood. Proudly made in Japan.
